Volunteer Library Work

Amron has performed the following volunteer library work:

• cataloged a South African multi-lingual library for the Centre for the Book in Cape Town

• worked on preservation project of Khmer and Buddhist palm leaf manuscripts at the National Library of Cambodia

• cataloged a family outreach collection for Maine Humanities Council

• curated a science museum reference collection for The Powerhouse Science Center

• provided virtual reference services for AskColorado statewide library initiative

• served as the Scholarly Nonfiction Coordinator for Women Writing the West’s WILLA Award

• served on the Advisory Board of Free Spirit Publishing (2013–2018)

• reorganized, cataloged, and ran the daily operations of a middle school library as a volunteer (2020-2023)
